Firstbeat Life™ – when the body gets to tell its story

Firstbeat Life is a professional analysis tool that measures how your body responds to stress, exercise, and recovery in everyday life. By wearing a discreet, body-worn sensor for 3–5 days, we get information about:

  • Your recovery capacity

  • Sleep quality

  • Stress levels

  • How effective your training is

  • Your resources to cope and perform

You receive a clear report directly in the app, and we go through the results together. This provides a concrete basis for making long-term changes in lifestyle, training, or recovery – based on data from your own body.

Trigger Point Therapy – treatment of tense and painful muscles

Trigger points are tender, tight spots in the muscles that often cause both local and radiating pain. With NAT (NeuroMuscular Activation) Trigger Point Therapy, I work systematically to release these tensions.

The treatment is individually tailored and may include:

  • Pressure (compression): specific pressure on trigger points to stimulate relaxation

  • Deep massage (deep stroking): slow, deep strokes to soften tight muscles

  • Muscle activation (muscle energy technique): you actively contract and relax muscles to increase mobility

  • Assisted stretching: gentle, guided stretching to improve flexibility

  • Positional release: relaxation in specific positions that help the body release tension

  • Exercise advice: individual exercises to support recovery and prevent new problems

The treatment can be combined with personal training or other manual therapy, depending on your specific needs.

Sports Massage & Kinesiology Taping

Sports massage is aimed at those who train actively – but also at those who have muscle tension from, for example, sedentary work. It is a deep treatment method that increases circulation, reduces stiffness, and can support recovery before or after exercise.

If needed, I complement the treatment with kinesiology taping, where elastic tape is applied to the skin to:

  • Reduce swelling and pain

  • Support muscles and joints

  • Improve circulation and mobility

The taping is always done according to your body’s needs and after a thorough assessment.

Gua Sha-Massage

Gua Sha is a traditional method with roots in East Asian medicine. Using a tool made of stone or horn, the skin is gently “scraped,” which increases blood circulation and releases stagnation in the connective tissue.

Effects may include:

  • Reduced muscle tension

  • Improved lymph circulation

  • Strengthened immune system

  • Softer connective tissue and skin

The treatment is adapted to sensitivity and needs – it can feel deeply relaxing while also providing unexpected energy.

Reiki – Energy in Motion

Reiki is a gentle, non-manipulative method where the hands are placed lightly on or just above the body. The aim is to stimulate the body’s own self-healing powers and create balance in the flow of energy.

The treatment is often experienced as:

  • Deeply relaxing

  • Restorative in cases of fatigue or anxiety

  • A way to reconnect with the body’s signals

Reiki is given in stillness, with presence and respect – a space where you can rest, breathe, and simply be.

Sports Massage & Kinesiology Taping

Sports massage is aimed at those who train actively – but also at those who experience muscle tension from, for example, sedentary work.

Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage is based on Ayurvedic tradition and focuses on the head, neck, shoulders, and sometimes the upper back.

The massage can help to:

  • Relieve tension and headaches

  • Improve sleep and concentration

  • Promote relaxation and inner calm

A quiet moment combining touch, rhythm, and presence – especially appreciated during stressful periods.
